FRANK ASIEDU - BOARD CHAIRMAN
Frank Asiedu is Board Chairman of Asempa Sourcing Ltd, and an experienced Business Development Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the international trade and development industry. Skilled in food security, Bottom of the Pyramid Business, Sustainable development, Rural Development, Behaviour Change Communication, and Proposal Writing. Strong business development professional graduated from Universita degli Studi di Torino / University of Turin.
Frank started as a Training and a business development officer at GIZ, and rose to a position of a business development manager at Relief International.
He later assumed the position of a business development manager at ECOM Trading. As a dynamic and resilient business development professional, his business acumen led him to attain a position at Touton SA as Head of Operations, Cocoa Sustainability. He is now the country manager for Beyond Beans Foundation in Ghana
FREDERICK AHENKORAH, MANAGING DIRECTOR
Frederick Ahenkorah is the Managing Director of Asempa Sourcing limited. He is a versatile finance and operations professional with seventeen (17) years of experience creating strong partnership with business leaders in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment in Commodities, Administration, Internal Audit, Finance, and Supply chain management. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Sikkim Manipal University in Delhi, India. A bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Cape Coast Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma in Logistics and supply chain management from Amity University in India and had his Secondary education at Kumasi High School. He started as a District Manager at Dio Jean Company Ltd, moved to ECOM trading and rose to the position of a Regional Manager, where he later assumed the position of a General Manager at TS Afrique Company Ltd and managing director for Lead Commodities Global Ltd.
He has demonstrated an exceptional breadth of knowledge applicable in a variety of settings. He anticipates business needs and plans strategic initiatives whiles executing day-to-day tasks-both intended to promote a highly resilient culture and an engaged workforce. He is an articulate communicator who takes hands on approach and understands the importance of relating policies and practices to productivity and profitability.
JOHN AKATI GAMELI - GENERAL MANAGER
John Akati Gameli is the General manager at Asempa Sourcing. John started as a District manager at Cashpro Limited and later assumed the position of a Zonal manager at Olam Ghana limited, he later joined Fludor Ghana Ltd. After years of remarkable industry performance and excellence with Fludor Ghana, he later joined Eliho Ghana Ltd which is also a licensed cocoa buying company as regional manager where he worked on many cocoa certification projects. From his versatile, dynamic and proactive approach to handling real operational issues, he has vast knowledge in the commodity supply chain business. His skills are a combination of sustainability and cocoa sourcing with a proven track record of meeting demand goals.
John holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast business school. Prior to that, he pursued a bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Cape Coast business school. As a business-oriented person, he had his postgraduate training course in management from the Graduate Training Institute in Accra-Ghana. John Akati Gameli also completed Navrongo Secondcary School where he offered general science as a discipline.
FRANCIS ANNOR - FINANCE MANAGER
Francis Annor is the finance manager for Asempa Sourcing Limited, he started his carrier as a finance officer at West African Exchange Ltd, and later became the Accountant for Dio Jean Company Ltd. Francis knows that accounting and finance is the life blood of every business, so he rose from the ranks to the deputy managing director in charge of finance and administration at Fredako Cocoa Company Ltd. As an experienced industry player, he later assumed the position of a managing director for Brediyie Company Ltd.
Francis Annor holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BSc) in Accounting from Kwame Nkruma University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana, Again, he holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance, University of Costa Rica, he is a chartered Accountant from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA-UK part II) and also a Member, Association of Certificate in Financial Accountant (ACFA-UK)
